How to stream internet video?

My wife and I like to watch the major networks(NBC, CBS, ABC) streaming video for shows that we missed. I have 7 megabit internet service and a 3Ghz PC with 768Mg of ram and a 128Mg video card. I think this should be enough but the video is not fluid, what am I missing. I [...]
