how can I download a streaming video from the internet to my computer?

I’d like to copy a video from the Internet (a company’s website, for instance)—is there software that would let me save the video to my hardrive i.e. for an academic lecture?

There are programs that ‘grab’ videos from websites. Replay Media Catcher is one of them, but you’ll need to find a torrent. If you’re using Firefox, video download helper can help with most videos, not all though.
